I bought 15 of these to give out in 3-packs to each of my family members. Their safety is my top priority, and my brother had recently been in an accident where he hydroplaned on a rainy road and could have used something like this. So why did I give it two stars? The problem is two-fold – first, the batteries are not included in the unit. Second is it’s next to impossible to get the batteries into here – you have to unscrew two screws that I was having trouble getting out with my DeWalt power screwdriver. I actually called the company to complain, but they gave some true nonsense about how batteries aren’t allowed to be in the item when it’s sold on Amazon. Let me tell you, I’m a Power Buyer, spending at least $50k+ a year on here in gizmos and such, and 450k on other sites. WHat they were saying about to being able to ship without batteries is simply not true. They may have to put a little piece of plastic over the batteries so they aren’t connected live, but it’s just nonsense to say otherwise. I literally just bought some from their competition that has the batteries included inside. Also, WHY DO YOU NEED TO UNSCREW TWO SCREWS TO PUT BATTERIES IN SOMETHING? I wanted to buy a hundred of these things, I kid you not, but I don’t have all day to unscrew and add the 3 AAA batteries (which are NOT INCLUDED) because these lazy guys couldn’t be bothered to make this as convenient for the customer as possible. A device like this should be ready to deploy the second it comes out of the box. Lives could depend on it. Look, I take safety very seriously, and I’ll tell you that I’ll be the first person to write a 5-star review and buy dozens, maybe hundreds of units, once they’ve re-engineered something that isn’t such a piece of junk. By the way, to be fair, when the batteries are inside – it’s an amazing safety device (they also need to work on a sturdier hook extension as long as they are going back to the drawing board hopefully.) I never write reviews, but I felt obligated to in this case because this item has too much potential to not be revised. It could revolutionize road safety and visibility. Sincerely, Rocky Zadok

I really like the lights but the hanger broke when I lifted it out. 1TAC needs to rethink that hanger.

Product is well made and durable looking. Liked it so much I purchased three additional ones for my family members.Hopefully none will need to use it but it’s an excellent road safety item if ever needed.

Bought these for my friend who does rescue work. She’s often out at night trapping injured dogs and needed something to make her more visible. These work great and she says she feels more comfortable knowing she’s visible.

Very bright warning lights.. great alternative to road flares, especially when we are in a drought and there is a concern about fires. These have been behind the seat in my truck for almost a year and the batteries are still in good shape. Only down side is most of my pickup is aluminum and the built in magnets don’t work.
