had to use mine to replace the block off cover seal. Needed some trimming inside to fit the cover but worked great. Sealed whole thing with window sealant anyway.

Hasn’t leaked since I installed it!

Easy to install, good adhesive. It helps to use silicone on the other side as a precaution.

The third brake light on my 2014 RAM pickup was leaking. When I took a look at it I discovered that one of the screws holding it on was really loose. I decided to replace the gasket since so many other people report leaks there too. I can see that it’s a design flaw in the brake light fixture in that the fixture “ bows out” at the top center of the fixture. Not such a tight fitting there. Anyway, I scraped all of the old gasket off of the fixture, and put the new gasket on the fixture (adhesive side down). The gasket was a perfect fit, and twice the thickness of the old gasket that was on there. I added some GE Silicone II sealer onto the outer side of the gasket, cleaned off the area real good on the truck where the fixture goes, and screwed the fixture back onto the truck. It was a nice snug fit. I added some GE Silicone II sealer around the edges of the fixture just to ensure a waterproof seal. BTW, make sure your silicone sealer is not past it’s expiration date. Mine was several years past the date and it would not cure. When I took a look at the fixture a couple of days later, the sealer was as gooey as when I applied it. I had to remove the fixture, wipe all of the old bad silicone off, apply new, good, silicone sealer, and all was good. I never knew that that silicone sealer went bad so quickly.

Easy to install, thicker than oem but a lot smaller. Looks like it should still keep the water out though.
