This wiring harness is well protected by the outer covering. The wire gauge is heavy and sturdy. I used a junction box on tongue of trailer to tie pigtail to tow vehicle and this wiring harness together. The harness runs length of trailer to rear lights. Center side marker lights were run with a smaller harness to junction box. All lights share a common ground wire instead of trying to use the trailer frame as a common ground. All connections are soldered and heat shrink tubing used to seal connections. All lights were switched to LED. No more trailer light issues!

Have not installed the wire, nor used it as of yet so the only thing I can say about the wire is that the wire strands look very nice and the thickness of the insulation is good.

The outer casing appeared to be a little stiff and brittle but I was running it through conduit under my travel trailer to protect it from road debris so not an issue.

After 18 months of being on my horse trailer, the wire is breaking apart when attempting to strip, at almost any location. Seems like the powder-like stuff inside is causing the copper to rot? I don’t know. Will not purchase again.

Great wire for trailers or anything really

Looks very durable. Used it for trailer wiring

I have had to re-wire my utility trailer twice now. The rodents just love the soy based trailer wire that most trailers use or the replacement kits for sale both on Amazon and auto parts stores. So, I purchased this cable to help deter the little monsters. Additionally, I picked up some of the stainless steel wire mesh and threaded this stuff through it. On the exposed junctions, I used the Honda rodent resistant tape that has capsaicin impregnated into the tape to leave a bad taste in their mouths. So far so good.
