Purchased these recently for my Pilot vehicle. Tested right out of box and they are indeed very bright. Box arrived with adequate packaging and all contents were accounted for.One thing I assumed (yeah, I know . . .) was that with all the various flash patterns listed there would be at least one pattern that would allow some independent flashing of the lights. For example since there are total of 8 lights and the control box has 8 channels, it would allow for say lights 1 & 3 flash on while lights 2 & 4 would be off. There doesn’t really seem like any logical explanation on why the manufacturer would have 8 independent connections with no visual difference in the 8 lights. The way I see it is they could have had 1 red and 1 black connection at the control box and just “home runned” all the lights into the control box — even sharing a common wire from a location (like the rear of the vehicle). One thing to note also is that I ran 4 of the light from the rear of my Ram PU and you will need to splice some additional wire for it to reach (I mounted my controller in my engine compartment). I wish the manufacture would offer a kit with additional wire lengths with their proprietary connections for a cleaner finished job. The wires are fairly thin and I spliced with a bit bigger 18G wire. With all this said, the lights look good. I’m anxious to use them to see if other drivers respond better (I use my truck as a Pilot vehicle and trying to get other drivers attention to stop or slow down can be difficult in some cases). I think the white portion of the lights will help with getting other drivers attention, although in some states local authorities don’t allow for non emergency vehicles to run white strobing lights. If that is the case where you live you can always use some of the Amber lense tape to cover that portion of the lights.*************************NOTE: After some playing around with switching the connections at the main control box, I was indeed able to get the flash pattern on the lights to have half of them flashing on and off and the other half flashing when the other 4 were off. So with that said, my “All on, All off” headline really isn’t true. Given that, I am changing my overall rating from 4 stars to 5. In the 3 weeks or so of having them mounted on my truck, I’ve been through some heavy rains – following oversized loads with much spray on the front of the truck and haven’t had any “weather” related issues with them to this point.

I purchased the amber/white version of these lights. I delivered packages during the holidays for a Brown shipping company. I used my 10’ box truck to do so. I mounted these lights to the top portion of the box – the larger “double” lights on the front and back and the smaller “single” lights on the sides. In addition to the screw holes, you will need to drill a 7/16” hole to pass the plug and wire through for each light. The lights have a foam gasket to keep the weather out from behind the mounted light. I used self-drilling screws instead of the screws/nuts included. After some experimentation I found that swapping the order of the plugs in the control unit gives more separation in the flash patterns, which I like. I had to cut/splice additional length in the wire between the switch and control unit (simply because I had to mount the control unit in the box of my truck due to cable length of the lights). I love the fact that the lights can be switched “all on solid” – this is huge for me when delivering to our foothills area in the dark December evenings. It illuminates about 30-50’ around the truck very well, allowing me to spot addresses from a good distance. The lights are very bright, and work well during daylight hours when I need extra safety (flashers) when stopping on our major roads. The unit remembers the pattern you were on when you switch off the power. It also seems to remember if you disconnect the lighter plug completely, which is nice. I highly recommend this set thus far. I will edit this review if anything changes.

These are pretty nice. In my opinion the wires need to be longer I got a reg cab long box and I had to cut and splice and it kinda sucks that you can’t just select a few you have to either have all of them on or un plug from the box but besides that great.

The media could not be loaded. The lights were a little too narrow to go across the width of the opening in my grill, so I cut some thin pieces of aluminum the length I needed and attached them to that. I have a few more I need to put in the back but the wires are too short (I have a 2015 F150 SuperCrew with a 6.5ft bed) and will need to splice the wires to make it work but I’ll get around to it. For the price I would recommend it.

Bought these to install on service truck.. Two of the 8 failed immediately. Ended up trying to replace the wiring and all as I needed to extend the wiring regardless. No dice. The led board failed.Contacted the seller hoping for two replacement lights, will update.I installed these on a crew cab F-350 with a 9.5ft flatbed.. They are very short if you intend on a full size pickup.. At least front and rear.. Expect to get soldering iron and extra wiring out. The actual wiring on these is also very thin.
