I must have read reviews on 20+ different LED headlights before deciding the purchase these. Based on my driving experience, many of the aftermarket LEDs blind oncoming drivers (had that done several times to me on suburban roads), and other reports of poor quality / failures were my primary concern. Bought these based on reviews, installed them in early June, and have been very pleased over these past two months. As background, we inherited a 2008 Honda Civic with <20k miles about 2 years ago, which is perfect for my new teenage drivers. The one thing I really disliked about the car is the headlights -- they are yellow, and the car sits low to the ground, so night driving was difficult, even for me. I am also a hobbyist detailer, so it's not the plastic lenses (they were in good shape, but I polished them to near-new condition anyway). As background, my wife and I have been driving higher end cars with HIDs for over 20 years, and I now have a car with OEM LEDs. Whenever we rent cars with halogens, I'm always a little disappointed -- and the Civic was worse than any rental that I had. These weren't an easy install, but that was due to the Civic -- you need to go in from the wheel well to change the headlights (really Honda!). Had the lights been accessible from the hood, I probably could have been done in 10 minutes. You do need to find a place for the little electronics box that is attached to the bulb, but they give you what most setups need to tie it to something (wire ties and soft pads to prevent rattles). Depending on your vehicle fitment, you may need to use a little of your own ingenuity (I used longer wire ties that I had in the house, but again, I had a unique install). The brightness and beam throw on these is great -- first thing I did was pull the car out to a level street with a parked car, and pulled up behind that car from about 100ft away to see if the beam would shine into that cars rear window too much. They didn't. I then did the same thing from the opposite direction, driving towards the front of the car, and driving past it to simulate oncoming traffic. Again, I wanted to make sure I wouldn't blind an oncoming driver. Again, no issue.Once both tests were passed, I then went for a ride in my dark residential neighborhood (no street lights) -- WOW, what a difference. Night driving went from dismal to very good. I've driven this car once a week or so at night, and have only been flashed once by an oncoming driver -- that does happen sometimes when driving up a hill in my car with factory LEDs (when the oncoming driver is driving downhill) as unlike HIDs, LEDs don't self-level so people occasionally think you are driving with your high beams when driving uphill.Color temperature is pretty close to my factory LEDs (white, not blue, and I'm not sure I can explain the difference without seeing them side-by-side), and while the beam pattern isn't quite as good as an OEM LED array, it's FAR better than the halogens. Keep in mind, these retrofit kits can't possibly match a factory setup that has 3-5 LED elements in a horizontal array that were engineered specifically for that vehicle's front end.I will update this review should these cause any issues, as it's only been 2 months...

After around an hour or so messing with these lights trying to get them securely fastened they wouldn’t go and even broke on of them to where the piece with the prongs now moves freely. The issue was with the little gaskets. They were to large which didn’t allow it to push in and turn. Finally I pulled the gaskets off the old lights and they went right into place. Due to the fan it is hard to fit the brights without pulling out the headlight assembly but I didn’t need to pull much. Once I changed the gasket it went fairly quick.

So easy to install! They are much brighter than I anticipated too! Work amazing! They did note that if they didn’t work, to flip the harness over and try again. So I would plug it in and press the unlock button on the key fab and go from there. Fit nicely behind the dust cover too. Just have to work the plug harness and pack around.I would definitely recommend!Installed on a 2016 Dodge Charger.

So the lights are very bright but the beam pattern is everywhere mostly on my high beams when i flash them it’s like it’s spreaded everywhere and not visible on road ahead of me and i was like that’s so i think i should have ordered brighter lights for my high beams because foor low and high beams there is no difference, and the low beams are like everywhere too i don’t know if it’s the lights but i to much don’t know how to fix them

This is the second set of Fahren LED’s I’ve installed in my Jeep, the first set was the 9006 low beams on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and they made a huge difference in nighttime driving, the second set is the 9005 I put in my bumper lights and they too have been a huge upgrade in light output. Before I couldn’t even tell when my bumper lights were on and now I can see way off the side of the road plus it matches my headlight bulbs much better.

I wanted a cheaper priced yet bright headlight with good ditch sweep and solid pattern…. These were exactly what I got. I did not Have to adjust the bream and the pattern is full and is bright.

I had a different brand LED bulbs in my Highlander than the old LED bulbs starting to go out. I replaced the old bulbs with these new Fahren LED bulbs. They work perfect in my 2006 Toyota Highlander. They are a huge upgrade to the vehicle from the old incandescent halogen bulbs. The halogen bulbs looked light a 1980s flashlight compared to these new Fahren bulbs. These bulbs really light the road very well and nobody ever flashes their lights at me. I am so impressed, I am removing the old brand 9005 highbeam LED bulbs from my Highlander and I am replacing them with even brighter Fahren LED bulbs. These bulbs are cooled by a little fan and the fan is silent.

It’s really bright as described and not very hard to install for my 2007 Toyota Highlander hybrid.
