Had to re-install… after installing them upside-down. I’m pretty sure it’s because I didn’t RTFM, though! 😉 They are really bright, and seem to work quite well when switching from low, to high beams. Longevity?… we’ll have to see.

I replaced the halogen lights on my 2004 mitsubishi la sportback wagon with these LED. I thought my night vision was weak, but I learned that halogen headlamps lose brightness over time. These LEF headlamps are superbright. You can see longer down the road and wider. They could potentially last 30 years. They will not dim over time. With these I’m perfectly happy using just the low beam. I never need to use the high beam. Installation was comparable to installing a halogen headlamp. These got good reviews on Amazon. Price was reasonable considering their superior brightness and beam beam distance and width–and the safety that comes with it–and their lifespan could conceivably last 30 years. Of course that depends on how much night driving you do. I also preferred the heat sink design of these LEDs over the outdated kind that use an onboard fan. The heatsink has no moving parts to fail. I’ve recommended these LEDs to 2 friends. They are also impressed with theirs.

I can’t see at night, so I needed better headlights, I really wanted LEDs but didn’t think I could find some for my ’03 Ranger, and if I did find some, didn’t want ones with fans. These fit the bill perfectly. At first I only replaced one side and was going to drive for a week to see how I liked them. I took one trip down the road, came back and immediately swapped the other halogen bulb out for the other LED. I was impressed with how bright and white the light was. I COULD SEE driving at night! They illuminate down road really well, and light up the side of the road so I can see where the pavement and grass meet, an often problem for me.They installed easily, but had trouble figuring out how to get the locking ring to lock into my headlight assembly. They locked in only one way (wire in top position) and locking ring from truck fit over them nicely. I had to slide ring over light’s LEDs, insert light’s locking ring into assembly, then screw truck’s locking ring into assembly. The cooling fins stick out quite a bit from my headlight assembly, and I had a lot of trouble getting the driver through where headlight assembly goes into truck and staying in cavity behind my headlights. Took me some finagling to get driver into the open cavity as there’s only 1 inch of space I could work with. It kept hitting the HL assembly back plate, but used some long needle nose pliers to push the driver into the cavity so the LED fins could fit into open hole so headlight assembly could lock in. All the effort was well worth it as these things are great! If you are considering LED headlights, get these! I LOVE them! I can actually see to drive at night now, which helps take a little of my anxiety down.

I’m able to see at night when driving in the dark. I live in an area with a large deer and wildlife population. If you know anything about Rut Season, you know what I’m talking about. I’m able to see deer from a distance versus almost smacking into them with my dim lights. I definitely recommend these.
