- Air-Tint is an industry first: a headlight/taillight tint with all of the technologies developed in VVIVID+ premium materials. They include an air-release membrane which allows you to install the tint dry ( without installation liquid ) Ready to use out of the box!
- This film can wrap ANY SHAPE of headlight, taillight or foglight. It is super conformable with heat. It was originally manufactured for hard-to-wrap surfaces, but the ease of install has professionals saving time on any headlight shape.
- This film is also self healing and scratches will go away with heat! Simply cut the vinyl to shape, and apply it to the surface. To make the vinyl conform to curves, simply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer, stretch and apply. Lastly, using a sharp blade, trim away excess from the headlight and you’re done! its literally that simple!
- Made with automotive grade cast vinyl. The adhesive is acrylic based which will not eat through plastic like other tints on the market. It is 100% chemical safe, and will not eat through headlight coatings or damage your lights.
- NOTE: Ensure that you measure your headlights prior to purchasing any headlight tints.

I was looking to tone down the rear lenses and wasn’t sure where to start, or exactly how much I wanted the red turned down. I started with the black tint and I really liked the look but not much bulb light got through…especially during the day. Next I went to the light smoke and it was exactly what I was looking for. I took this photo of just the left rear lens with the light smoke and the other three with the dark still on. I hope this helps someone make the right choice. As for the application? Buy extra to practice with. I don’t like the felt tips because they still can scratch the film so I covered the squeegee with some velcro and it worked perfect. Good lighting is a must.

Used for my rear bumper tail lights. Don’t have any before photos but you can tell the difference between my regular tail light which is not tinted at all. I wanted a dark film, but still transparent enough to show my reverse light. Was super easy to install, just make sure you clean your lights/area very well with alcohol mix. And have a steady hand when cutting. Easier to install than Lamin-X for sure. Will probably get a lighter tint for my regular tail lights.

I used this to “subdue” the factory radar cruise control / emblem on my Mazda 3 turbo. The light smoke matches the hyper black factory grill insert almost perfectly. Installation was a breeze- just be sure to clean whatever you’re tinting prior to application. A heat gun can also help a little for getting the vinyl into hard corners. It’s been on for nearly 2 months, and I’ve not seen any bubbles or imperfections. It even seems to resist chips and dirt from road debris and bugs, almost like a minor form of paint protection film! If you’re on the fence, I would recommend this tint.

Seem to be a good product. Didn’t go on well to rear tail lights on the grooved areas. Once complete it settled and tore a little, but overall looks good despite the small tears from settling.

First, I recommend not using the first 6 inches of the film in a continuous piece. There’s a line in the film that just wouldn’t come out. Second, as the tint is “air release”, there is a texture on the backside, that is visible on the headlights. It’s not as apparent on darker things, like my emblems that I wrapped. Because of the line, I had to order another roll to redo the light. Overall, it looks good from afar, and is cheap enough, but up close it’s not perfect. It’ll do until I find a better solution.

I’ve tinted dozens of car windows. I’m no pro but I consider myself familiar enough with tint that I figured this wouldn’t be that much different. It’s not the same. Using heat from first a hair dryer and then a heat gun didn’t help much, getting this to curve over the lights of an Impala was impossible without creases or bubbles on the edges. Removing it caused the coating on the lens to come off.I can say it would have look great if it had worked. If you have a fairly simple headlight I can see this working, for mine with multiple curves and angles I’d save your money.
