After three years of winter use, my old safety light developed an internal problem that I wasn’t able to repair, so I decided to replace it with this light. My old light used replaceable batteries which worked well enough but this light had built-in lithium rechargeable batteries which I viewed as an improvement, not to mention that the new light was several dollars cheaper. I use this light as a warning light on my pickup truck when I plow snow. It has 6 different flashing patterns that can be shuffled through and chosen as you so desire. I used it this winter and have found it to be every bit as reliable as my old light was. I usually leave it on all the while I am plowing and it never dies or runs down during periods of use. Likewise, the magnetic base holds tight to whatever surface on which it is mounted and does not slip or fall off during normal winter driving highway speeds. After finishing my tasks, I remove it from my rooftop, bring it inside my home, and throw a refresher charge on it making it ready for the next time I need it. It charges quickly, usually in less than one hour. In short, it is reliable, does what I want it to do, and hasn’t let me down yet! I am very pleased with it.

I’ve owned this lamp a couple of months. I have used it on the roof of my car once when stopped on the highway and it performed very well in supplementing the vehicle’s four-way flashers. The magnets attached firmly to the slight curve of the roof of the car, although I did not drive with it mounted. The lamp is good for supplemental use but it is not particularly bright compared to some other LED warning beacons. Since using it for the first time however, I have had an issue when I used it on my tractor when transporting hay bales along county roads. The metal fenders on my particular machine have a flat top; very handy for attaching a magnetic warning lamp I thought! All was well until I needed to remove the lamp. The issue for me was rather the opposite from some of the customer reviews of “weak” magnets, in that the magnets were so strong that I then struggled to remove the lamp when I needed to recharge it. Unfortunately in trying to break the pull of the magnets, the plastic base of the lamp broke away at the mounting bolt and the lamp is no longer serviceable. From inspection after the event, the metal magnetic base is mounted to the lamp via a single nut and bolt through the bottom of the plastic lamp housing. The plastic is not reinforced and there is no metal washer or backing plate to spread any load on the bolt. The plastic base shattered at the first attempt to remove the lamp from the tractor fender. This is unfortunate as I was more than happy with the performance of the lamp up to that point and I am hopeful that the vendor might try to resolve this for me.

I like the brightness and wireless mounting on my vehicle but after 1 year of using it for 4 days a week 2.5hrs at a time its nolonger charging. Very dissatisfied.

The media could not be loaded. Battery life is awesome! I used it twice on the flash mode (6hrs total) and it was still pretty bright. The magnet is really strong and the light itself is pretty bright aswell. Great for night time delivery drivers
