This Aukee H4 LED is my third kit I’ve installed in my 2011 Tacoma. It seems each brand and design has a few good features and some not so good. I first drew an outline of my original halogen lights on my garage door (over a strip of painter’s paper) to be able to dial in the lights with the new kit. I then installed the LED’s without the dust cover to speed things up and do a final tuning. The aim didn’t change after the new bulbs were placed in and overlapped my drawing of the halogen lights perfectly. So far, so good.I then took the truck for a test drive and made a few minor adjustments to get a good beam pattern on road without blinding the oncoming traffic. I had my son in a car on the opposite side of the road to let me know if he was seeing any glare. Overall, the light pattern was acceptable with a few faint dark spots here and there. I can live with it at this price range, vs. the $90 HIKARI, which I sent back.I then tried to install the dust covers and that’s when the trouble started. I was able to force the driver side on (the picture), but the passenger side wouldn’t budge. Unfortunately, I ended up damaging my headlight housing in the process. So, what lessons did we learn here? When you order this part, order a pair of after market dust covers made for LED and HID upgrades. You have to know the dimensions of your original boots and find a matching one on Amazon and there are millions of them. The aftermarket covers allow the fan to breath and cool down the circuitry. I’m working on getting mine. In the meanwhile, I pushed back a little bit of the cover to get a little air in there.Back to the lights…they are very bright and I like the color temperature (6000K), the same as HIKARI. I tried another set before this one which was advertised as 6500K and I found it to be too blue and faint on the road. The reflection of road signs from the 6500K bulbs was obnoxious and even distracting. They went back as well. The other nice feature of this light is the quiet fan. I can hardly hear them. The worst was HIKARI which sounded like an old buzzing house fan. Overall, for the price, features, light pattern and minimal dark spots, I found these to be near ideal.

1st week review my thoughts.2012 ram 2500 reflector housingI bought these after doing some research about leds and the difficult canbus system in rams and I couldn’t get all the info I needed and through well for under 30$ how bad can it be…PROS.1st. They are BRIGHT they are definitely a great upgrade in my ram and make my truck look amazing2nd. They are very simple to install just make sure the are facing the right way in the reflector ( leds facing right and left not up and down)3rd. They are very quiet I had to check and see if the fans were even working when I turned them on.4th. I didn’t have to readjust them because my truck is lifted 7 inches and I brought my beam on the stock halogens down a little more to be courteous before installing these. When I installed these the beam patter was still about where I set them in the halogens5th. Beam patter is about the same as stock give or take a little6th. They seem well built. Not as good as the pricey GTR lighting I have in my custom projector housing for my show truck but still good.CON.Now this is subjective to the ram I have them in because the canbus system is complicated1. There is a flicker in them not ridiculously obvious but you can see it if your paying attentionCONCLUSIONWHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! I am not paid to promote this company I have owned many diffrent lighting systems leds, and HIDs. No its not gonna beat a proper HID projector setup but it is a great GREAT option for a very cheap price. I purchased these and the fog lights from this company and let me tell you guys something.. i can’t use my fog lights and low beams at the same time WAY WAY to much light for oncoming traffic but on backroads you light up EVERYTHING for a very good distance without a problem.I wish I could could give them 5 stars but the flickering takes 1 star from them being perfect.GREAT BUY!

These are nice LED lights. Works great for a 2004 Rav4. It isn’t blinding to other drivers but is still plenty bright to illuminate the road.

I purchased the 9012 LED bulbs for my friends 2019 Dodge Challenger to upgrade from the OEM halogen installed ones.Installation: Instillation is difficult including having to remove the intake for the drivers side and using my phone camera to see what I was doing. Be careful removing the original bulbs. This is at no fault of the bulbs. The bulb holder sit tight with a friction fit that feels tight enough to not worry about road vibrations. Clearance is small enough to use the OEM dust covers.Performance: these bulbs are very bright on the road and have a good beam pattern with the projector housing. They provide a modern look to the car and my friend is very happy with them.Overall, my friend and I are very pleased with the result and do not have any electrical can us issues. Highly recommend for the 2019 Dodge Challenger with halogen projectors. Matches the white accents LEDs very well.
