   The media could not be loaded.  I bought these for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and installed them in the front and back. I am running them from my center console where I have a cigarette lighter port. I went with the Govee because I have their lights for some other applications in my house and already had the app. Plus, I have found their other products to work fairly well.They came in a package with the lights, some small screws for mounting (if needed), zip ties, a remote and the manual. I ran the lights through the jeep and to the spots I wanted them. I made sure I had enough cord to run and be able to hide it. I would suggest doing that before you stick them up. The reason I gave these 4 stars is because of the way they are daisy chained off each other, the cord had to run from one end of the light to the second light in the chain. In other words, they have one cord coming into the first light to power it but then another on the opposite end running to the next light. In my case, I had the first light under my dash on the drivers side and had to run the other end of the cord back past the light over to the one on the passenger side. So I ended up tying the cord up more than I had hoped. I wish they ran one shorter cord to one of the front and back lights and a set of longer cords on the other two. No matter how I tried it, the second light cord was kind of in it’s own way. They work, but there’s routing that I didn’t need. I have a different brand in my truck and they ran 4 separate cords so that I didn’t have to worry about which order I ran them in. But they don’t have the app and features these do.Once I got the cords sorted out I peeled the tape backing off and stuck them to the dash in the front and the metal bar on my back seat in the back. I also used the included zip ties to hold them to the bar. That seat folds up so I wanted them to be held on better. I plugged them in, hit the power button and they worked.The app setup was really easy. Since I already had it setup I just added the lights (H6118 in my case) and they connected via bluetooth. I was then able to change the color and settings. It is super easy and intuitive. I recorded the music mode (see video) in action and it works pretty well. I won’t run it this way, but I was impressed how it went to the beat, this time with the sensitivity turned down and on calm mode. After playing with it I will use a solid color. You can customize the colors and adjust it how you like. I didn’t use the remote but it does everything you would need if you don’t want or have the app.When it powers on, it goes through a few colors then goes on to the mode you have selected. It was fast and not too annoying. You can also dim the lights and do a ton of other things with it through the app. I would suggest that you use it for adjusting the lights initially. Once they are set, you don’t need it.Overall, I m very happy with them. The lights are bright and work like expected. The app is a nice feature and I like that they have a power button. I can easily reach in the console and power them on or off. If I had run through my other cigarette lighter, they would go on and off with the key but I didn’t want the plug (and glowing red power button) showing. They are pretty stealth and hidden away and will light things up enough at night to let me see. Now if it will warm up enough, I can get the doors off and go driving!

   Picked these up as part of a lightning deal during Prime Day because why not. The lights are plenty bright at the max setting. The colors are nice and the features in the app to set your own color scheme is nice. The only real knock on them is that the “Music” mode doesn’t work as you would hope.I do not believe this particular model has any sort of sensor or mic to actually pick up music in the car. I even tried tapping on the lights, wires, and base to see if I could manually trigger a response. No dice. So, these get a 4 star because the Music mode is just a random series of pulses instead of the consistent flashes of the other modes.Everything else is fine with the ease of installation and set-up. I’m not that disappointed, given the price I paid for them. They provide fun, ambient light when it is dark. They also function as a reminder to vacuum my floorboards way more often than I do.

   I wanted some sort of lighting for my passengers because the car can get really dark and it’s hard to see if you’ve forgotten something.Since I have Govee plugs at home, I got this and I’m not disappointed!! Installation in the back was interesting because under the seats is a felt-like fabric that the sticker didn’t stick to. But, I got Velcro from a fabric store and used only one side of it and it grabbed onto that fabric like there’s no tomorrow! The Velcro is adhered directly to the light strip.Also, I only wanted blue and while the lights come on in a flashing variety of colors, I was able to program blue through the app and I just keep that on all the time and the lights default to blue now.I recommend this to others. I’ve gotten so many compliments in just 2 days!

   I don’t like how can’t untatch any of the lights. So be careful where you locate the the back lights so that they don’t shine back up where a cop could see it. Besides that amazing car light.

   These are almost perfect. My only complaint that it would nice if they came as separate pieces that plug into a hub. I say this because inorder to route the wires where they would not be in the way and least conspicuous I ended up cutting and splicing in two places. Beyond that they work exactly as advertised and looks great.

   They were just for fun. But they also look cool too!! They change colors for my different moods. Under the dash to light up the floor boards. And under the seats to light up the back area floor boards. And my son installed them in like 10 minutes flat. I still love them!
