I hardwired mine, very easy, the red is power and the black is a ground , cut off the end of the cigarette lighter part, I had to run extra wire for power and ground. The ground acts as a neutral this is DC WIRING it will not light up unless u ground that wire!!!!! Get a fuse accessory and plug that into your cigarette lighter, just make sure when u turn the car off to try and turn the lights on u don’t want them to come on, that means u got constant power at your cig lighter, find another spot. The wires need to be bigger, it took me like 5 hours, yes 5 hours to run the cleanest setup possible and I still ain’t done, gotta start the back. I tore alot apart. It’s easier to ziptie the wires extra than to try and keep pulling for more that isn’t there. If u have a truck I don’t know how u would do this with this kit, I have a 4 door Lexus and it was challenging for the passenger front I barely made it. The adhesive is junk, use the little black screws and screw them into your plastic underneath that will hold the light, if u need to remove these u won’t even notice the extra tiny screw hole. They are bright and work great then again these need to be about 18″ longer for each light, someone said the back is longer that is false, they are the same size length.Hope this helps

I like these lights and the show they give inside my car. The app is pretty cool too. The wires are easy to hide and if you do it right you should have very very very little wiring exposed. All that said, the adhesive is HORRIBLE! Easy fix though. I just retaped them with better double-sided tape. The brightness of the lights could be brighter but when I think of what I paid I can’t really complain.

On one of the light strips specifically, it will not adhere to anything, I had to get heavy duty mounting tape to get that one to stick and I still make sure not to even touch it. However, the rest of the strips adhered perfectly first try and have stayed on for weeks so far. I absolutely love how the settings can be controlled through an app and the music function really ties it together. Good product for the price.

Plug and play ! Literally plug in to your power outlet and peel the tape off and stick it where you want it. IF it is cold in your vehicle when installing warm it up inside first. The adhesive works much better the warmer it is inside the vehicle.

That’s lights are really nice but for the price I expected the music feature to actually work correctly. The lights just flash at their own pace and don’t keep up with the song at all. The adhesive is also not very strong. My lights on my driver side have come off about 4 times now…other than that these are decent lights for your car. A pain to hide the wires tho!

Saw a lot of complaints about the 3M adhesion but I had no issues. Install takes a bit of common sense so if you’re lacking in that category these may not be for you. Looks great, not super, super bright and I’m not sure how long they’ll last but for less than $20 it’s hard to beat.

They have come undone once or twice, but I have glued them back and they stayed put since. The brightness is amazing and I struggle to put them in but I got it straight. I love that you can sing it to your music as well.

Its alright. The “music reactive” feature is a joke, and if you have black floor mats, orange, green, and yellow all look the same. Its like that with purple and blue too. I mainly only use red. Most of the colors are too bright and distracting for driving except red. The app is pretty cool though with all the themes it has. Its nice that you have 3 option to attach them- 1. Adhesive 2. Philips screws 3. Zip ties. You get what you pay for and this is worth 20 dollars.
