I loved the ease of use of this product. I have arthritis in both shoulders and didn’t know if I had enough “elbow grease” for this to be effective. My 2009 Civic had a pair of headlights that looked “frosted” and I was having a lot of trouble seeing where I was going at night. I washed the car and used a few dabs of the Chemical Guys treatment on the headlights and a lot of “yellow” stuff came off. I could also feel that the headlights themselves felt “rough”. I buffed them and then applied more with and with more buffing more “stuff” was apparent on the rag. A few more dabs and buffing and the rag looked relatively clean. The headlights themselves look great. Nice and clear. I don’t know how long the lights will look so clear but I wouldn’t mind spending a few minutes every few months to keep the headlights clear and it sure beats the $500+ figure I was quoted to replace the lens.

First, I’m not a regular reviewer, but this stuff really made a difference, so I had to.My basic opinion is that if you have lenses that are starting to yellow, go to this stuff immediately and it will probably restore the original look. Mine are a little different in that they’ve been through the old sand and polish 4-5 years ago, so they’re a little rougher. That said, I would estimate that with this product alone, I got a 60-70% improvement on lens clarity. I used my Porter Cable random orbital polisher to get pretty good results given how bad my lenses were. The yellowing is completely gone, but it isn’t “like new”. For a car with 197,000 miles on it, with a few dings here and there, that’s good enough for me. I’d recommend giving it a shot.

Tried the “simply rub on wipe off” NOT!Ok not bashing CG as I have quite a few of their products. But that don’t work for majority of folks with oxidized headlight lens. Really. My headlights had oxidation no question.Sanding was only option so I used 600-1000-2000-3000 to remove dead plastic. Then applied a line of CG Headlight restorer product using 4” (orange) polishing pad on Milwaukee polisher. Results were pretty good!Question: Let’s see how long they last with CG UV protection built in to product?

This product Chemical Guys headlight restorer works extremely well. I have a Honda 2012 CRV and it has never been tried prior on its headlight lenses. So a with a 10 year old+ auto with nearly 100,000 miles it’s showing a much cleaner & clear headlight lens with 2-3 applications of this cream. Use a chamois/microfiber cloth to apply and a clean one to polish/buff does the job. It won’t be like brand new condition but very much improved clarity. Highly recommended.

restored headlight close to original, sandpapers needed to sand before apply chemical guy but result did not meet my expected.

I’ve used headlight restoration products in the past that required sanding and buffing. I was skeptical that this would work with just the polish, but it did. Easier and faster and the headlights look great.

The headlights on my vehicle was so yellowed that I could barely notice my lights on at night. I applied this product and the difference is night and day. I can see the light beams so far ahead of me. I also purchased the suggested microfiber cloth which really allows you to apply the product and remove the residue very easily and effectively.

Using the right pads and clothes, it work’s incredible well. It does take a lot of hand buffing but the results are worth it. It brought a 2012 Subaru’s headlights back to life. It worked so well I used it on my 2014 Mazda, too. Great stuff.
