So far I love these lights. The Amazon configuration checker says that these will not fit into my ‘14 Honda Goldwing, but I saw another reviewer that confirmed they do fit. (Many H7 LED bulbs have fan bases that make them not a direct replacement, but these bulbs fit perfectly into the Goldwing H7 adapter.) They are significantly, and I do mean *significantly* brighter than the upscale Sylvania H7SZ-2 Xenon Halogen bulbs I have been running. Easily 50+% brighter. In concert with my fixture’s reflector, they have a very crisp top edge that allows you to precisely adjust the height of the beam. This is more like an HID pattern—as bright as a high-beam below the line, but you can adjust the line down on the Goldwing to prevent blinding people. If your fixtures are not adjustable, or aren’t designed with a horizontal fan pattern, these may be too bright for your application. But in my Goldwing that has both, they have been the best bulbs I have ever owned and have improved my night riding dramatically.

These are plug and play for installation. I took photos of before (with conventional halogen) and after (with the LED). The photos were taken with the same settings of speed (1/30s), ISO (3200), and f-stop(2.0). Unfortunately, the household across the street turned on their holiday lights, but I don’t think that it significantly influenced the result. I’ve got another pair and will install them for high beams. FYI: Installed in a 2001 Toyota Highlander for which I have restored the headlight covers, but for which there is still some haze and crazing. I’m hoping that this will improve the visibility at night. Will update, when I have more to say. So far, so good. This is immediately after installation, so no lifetime comments are possible.

I buy a lot from Amazon but only write reviews if a purchase is really bad or really good. I have been in the auto industry for over 50 years and can say without hesitation these LED bulbs are outstanding. I installed them in a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Perfect fit, easy to install and reasonably priced. Why outstanding? The area covered by the pattern of light! The brightness compared to the OE is similar, but the light from these bulbs is projected farther down the road in front of my car and to each side. This allows seeing more ahead and to each side. To confirm this I have driven on an unlit country road and was amazed at how much of an area in front of the car and to the sides is illuminated. One of my best aftermarket auto parts purchases ever! The only question mark is: How long will they last? Some reviewers have complained these bulbs don’t last very long. Time will tell for me and I will post an update if the ones I purchased fail prematurely IMO.
