EDIT: I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 5 after reading all the other great reviews. Obviously these work great, they just do not in my 2020 Fusion. Sure wish they did!!!VEHICLE: 2020 Ford Fusion SE with Projector low beam and Reflector high beam enclosuresPREVIOUS BULBS: HIKARI 2022 HyperStar H11/H8/H9 20000LM Wireless LED Bulbs, 32W Acme-X LED with resistorsNEW BULBS: HIKARI 2023 FUTURE 30000LM H11/H8/H9 LED Bulbs, 65W Titanova LEDPROS: The new Hikari 2023 Future Titanova LED headlights are ridiculously bright and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a brighter headlight in person. They must be at least double the brightness of the 2022 HyperStars. Please note that the Titanovas are advertised as being “DOT Certified” and “Street Legal” but I have my doubts about this claim and I’d guess that these are probably illegal in the USA. These bulbs maintain the fantastic beam pattern inherent to projector headlight enclosures. Advertised at 6000K, they seem a little more around 5600-5800K but, to me, this color is perfect for all weather conditions. In my experience, bulbs advertised at 6500K have a very nice, crisp white color during perfect weather but seem to glare a lot in the rain and snow which makes it harder to see – plus gives me a headache. The color of these seem to cut through most of this glare and makes it easy to see. These devices seem to be very sturdy and well built.CONS: Unfortunately, the Titanova bulbs are NOT compatible with my car without resistors or even with the resistors I had originally purchased for the HyperStars. I do not know if special resistors were manufactured by Hikari specifically for the Titanovas – at least I couldn’t find any advertised on Amazon. I purchased and installed two sets of the Titanovas, both the high and low beams, and when hooked straight up to the car without the resistors, the lights come on for about 1 second and then go off, indicative of requiring resistors. After adding the resistors to the low beam bulbs I had originally purchased and used for the HyperStar bulbs, the low beams would come on, but after 1 second, the passenger-side headlight would go off. I could repeatedly turn my lights off and on and the same thing would happen each time but after roughly 15 to 20 tries, finally the passenger bulb will stay on. This procedure enabled me to take pictures for this review. Since I do roughly 50-60% of my driving at night in massive deer infested country, I cannot be turning my lights off and on while driving down a dark highway hoping that both headlights will stay lit. Please note that the Titanova bulbs get EXTREMELY HOT. No, you don’t understand. Not just extremely hot, but hotter than hades in the middle of July down on the equator while laying naked in a fire pit hot. After having these powered up for 5 minutes, you can brand cattle with these. All joking aside though, I would not be surprised if the Titanovas start causing reports of vehicle fires. Either the heatsink is incorrectly designed or the cooling fan is seriously under powered. The HyperStar bulbs are advertised with a longevity of “up to 50,000 hours” while the Titanova bulbs are advertised as having “10,000+ hrs Longevity.” This is a substantial reduction of bulb life and I’m sure it’s due to the Titanova’s extreme heat and poor heat dissipation abilities. Actually, I cannot imagine the Titanova bulbs lasting even a fraction of the advertised 10,000+ hours.CONCLUSION: I ended up removing the Titanova bulbs and reinstalling the HyperStar bulbs with the resistors. Hikari is definitely on the right track in the headlight bulb department, but in my opinion, the Titanova bulbs have a design flaw due to the heatsink and/or the cooling fan being incapable of dissipating the extreme heat these devices generate. If these work in your vehicle as advertised, your vehicle is not affected by or you don’t mind risking the extreme heat possibilities, then I can promise you that these are your bulbs. These come close to lighting up Mars on a dark night.

That the collars rotate. You can take the collars off the lights stick them in the locking points in the housing, then the lights simply slide into the locks via friction. Press gently but firmly until they stop going in any further. Only thing I wish that the manual discussed. The bulb collars ROTATE. If you’re looking for how to rotate them just use your fingers and gently pull them off the bulb and slide the ring into your housing locking tabs. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra SLT 4×4 and these fit perfect. I had to trim 1/16 of plastic off one of the locking tabs though. Not sure if it was a bur from the factory but it wouldn’t lock in. AMAZING LIGHT! Coming from factory lights it is night and day difference. You go from barely seeing what’s in front of you to being able to see to the end of the street A++. I ended up having to order the Hikari resistance / decoder adapters for my truck for the computer to see the headlights. They work great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07312V7QB. Without it they turned off in a few minutes. A++

Got these with the upgrade program with hikari and I am impressed with a company nowadays that is so customer oriented. The future LED are just a little brighter but definitely have a more uniform pattern with a good hotspot in the middle upper of the pattern. Given this is on a 1993 f350 with new headlight housings so not a new car but I think a good middle of the road light pattern to test on as majority of vehicles on the road have similar headlight technology ie a reflector typeEither way I think these are worth the upgrade

The LED upgrade program works and is great, Hikari sent me a 30% off coupon code, making these bulbs a great bargain at an awesome price. Pay attention when installing for them to work properly. I suggest you assure the bulbs are working properly before installing into the headlight assemble. Even in the daylight I can tell they’re going to be brighter. This is my second set of Hikari LED bulbs and have been more than happy with them.

Upgraded from 2019 Hikari LED headlight bulb to the 2023 Titanova 30000 lumen bulbs in my 2014 Toyota RAV4. The improvement is very noticeable. It is about double the brightness and clarity than my 12,000 lumen 2019 generation bulbs. Color of the light is a very good pure white almost no blue hue. Installation was virtually plug and play on the RAV4, however you do need to account for the driver module and ensure it is secure. The last bulbs are still working and these bulbs are made with excellent build quality.Customer service is very easy to contact and responsive to any question or issues. (Hard to find with so many different brands today)I would recommend the brightest bulbs option that is DOT legal to really benefit from LED headlights.

I have used several spec levels of Hikari LEDs. I have 2 vehicles with Hikari Ultra’s and 1 with the standard Hikari and have been impressed with brightness and HikariCares customer service. When replacing an old set I was turned on to the new Future series by HikariCares customer service. These lights came packaged well and arrived smoothly like all past Hikari orders. These lights have a slightly larger fan than the older Ultra series and are tighter fitting in the housing of my headlights than previous lights. The electronics bundle on the power leads were a little trickier to tuck behind my headlight lenses.I am very impressed that these are brighter as stated in the description. The cutoff was able to achieve easily with a 6 o’clock orientation of the harness plug. I am interested to see how long these last compared to past series lights which seem to go 2 years.
