I ordered this light bar for my employees to use when they are doing security in their personal vehicle. I have to say this light bar has exceeded my expectations! The unit seems fairly well made but the best thing is how bright it can be as well as over 30 different patterns easily changed by a well designed, easy to use controller. The controller not only controls the patterns but it also allows you to set a favorite for instant recall. I also like that the controller has an LED display showing you exactly what your lights are doing and pattern. I am probably going to buy the full size version to replace my dates whelen bar on top of my crown Victoria interceptor that I use for patrols. So far so good. The only concern is when winter hits. It is all plastic so I will spend some time sealing it up well, just in case so far rain hasn’t phased it and the magnets/suction cups probably could be used as a dent puller! So strong! Great deal and product. I own a security company and been in the business 27 years so 8ve had my fair share of inferior lighting systems.
Disappointed again consumer –
This light works great and is bright and it sticks good to the top of my truck even at 70 mph. I like that it has a little plug so you can disconnect the control panel from the cord and and fish the controller wire through a small hole to the inside of the truck. I wish that they made the power plug the same way so i can get the power wire in through the same SMALL hole under the cab. Also… it comes on as soon as you plug it in so you have to turn it OFF anytime/everytime there is a interruption in the power.

As the one line statement says, I wish the magnets that came with the light were stronger. I am attempting to find new ones that fit the base without having to remove the magnets installed and replace them with larger neodymium magnets. For those also wondering, the bolt is a M6x1.0.

Stays put even above 80mph. Super bright, lots of settings. Nice long cords. Only thing I would say I don’t like is that if you leave the switch on even if the control box is off the light turns back on when you start the car, making it impossible to plug in in the back of the car.

I took a razor blade and cut the bottom of the rubber suction cup to expose the magnets. They say not to go over 45 mph but by cutting the thin rubber bottom I was going 80 mph with no issues.

Awesome little light bar fast shipping very bright The suction cups on are awesome I was running about 85 90 mph with no problems with the light bar very very bright at night time daytime pretty bright The only problem is the wires for the display is a little short but not a big deal awesome for the price will recommend this light bar to any of my fellow firefighter or first responders

Lights are bright, suction cups work very well, but the on and off button seems to be stuck because I can’t turn it off and on. I just bought this 2 months ago and haven’t used it that much. I feel like the quality of this item is good, but maybe I just got a bad control panel?
