Installation was simple and easy. I managed to set it up in my car in about 30 minutes. The app offers a lot more control over lights and setting that up was very easy. The only issue I’ve had so far was trying to get the music sync to work. The app allows you to use your phone microphone for it but it disables the 4 different music modes and forces a solid color when using your phone mic. Switching back to the built-in mic revealed just how inconsistent it was. Most of the modes didn’t really seem to work and felt off beat to the music or was very “mute” in terms of how bright it would be.Energetic mode seemed to be fine if you lower the mic sensitivity but it could still pick up non music sounds which I was okay with considering it was using an built in mic.Rhythmic mode was simply just awful, it didn’t feel at all rhythmic and just felt like some randomly timed pulses. I couldn’t tell if it was picking up mic input at all.Spectrum had very promising effects as it turns dark when there is no mic input and lights up very nicely with input. However, despite turning up the mic sensitivity, it didn’t seem to pick up sound further away despite me blasting my music very loudly in the car. It only fully lit up if I tapped directly on the mic itself. This was an absolute downer because Spectrum was the coolest mode in the entire section.Rolling mode was confusing and didn’t really seem to work. Maybe I needed more than one set of lights but it just made somewhat inconsistent lights that rolled around but didn’t really sync up to the music.Overall, a good product if you are good with setting up custom settings of lights or just want lights. Terrible music sync mode as the built in mic either was too sensitive, didn’t work, or didn’t even seem like it was picking up sound at all.

Very bright. The adhesion level of the strip leaves a little more to be desired, but it does come with screws to mount it with, which I have not seen from other similar products. That definitely makes it more versatile. Product is very bright. I do not like how the strips are wired sequentially, I would have preferred discrete wiring to each strip, I don’t see the point in wiring them sequentially as they did. It was a slight bigger pain to hide the wiring because of that. With that said, not a deal breaker. Overall, aside from the weaker adhesion, and sub-optimal wiring, I am satisfied.

Bright, amazing colors, easy to install other than the 4 led bars are connected and the wiring going to the bars from under front dash to rear floorboard of vehicle are about 2 feet too short. Wish I’d have read the other reviews about this but I didn’t. Govee is an amazing brand all my car and house lights are govee. This design flaw just ruins the lights.

Lets start off with the pros.-The app to control the lights is amazing, it has so many premade presets, the option to make your own is not required, but its an appreciated feature nonetheless.-theres a rubber like guard so the LEDs do not get damaged, very nice and easy to clean. But the cons are pretty annoying.-the adhesive will NOT stick even after being heated, how you mess up 3m tape? I have no clue.-since the adhesive is horrid, i had to drill holes in my car to screw the lights in…Other than that, the software, as well as the amazing brightness for the price point, its a solid product if you are willing to drill holes in your car.Not for Mercedes owners.

I’ve installed quite a few lights in the past on cars and these are hand down the best. I cut the cigarette lighter end off and hard wired it to the cigarette light behind the dash with a fuse to ensure a clean look, and it looks amazing. The only downside I don’t like is the lights are part of 2 long wires instead of 4 of their own wires which I would prefer. The app is very easy to use and make for a great party in the car!

Beautiful lights and changes the mood in the car at night completely. Only thing is it falls off occasionally. Not sure if it’s the fluctuating weather. Could be the fabric of the chair or when the seats adjust that cause it partially unstick or fall off. Good thing is the adhesive is still sticky so I just stick it back in at the moment.

The setup for these in a 2019 hyundai veloster was a little tough but i prevailed, first off i routed them so i had the power on the driver side, i then fed the passenger side through the center console section behind the panels, after i figured out the orientation for the wires as i wanted the wire to be tucked up under the center console panel, then run along to the back, i then zip tied the front lights and stuck the back ones to the bottom of the seat ( 3m included on the back was not strong enough, because it was like a fur texture, they weren’t going to stay on that anyway, had to hot glue). Next i tackled power, i wanted to not show any wires, so i went with a fuse tap, very simple, splice the cigarete power line, run red to the fuse tap, black will need to be grounded, find a spot with a screw connected to the body of the car and use that, i suggest you get a spade wire connector, now find a fuse that isn’t connected to anything important, in my case i used the cigarette lighter fuse (i know ironic) pop the fuse out place it in the fuse tap, now make sure you use the same exact amp fuse for the other side, as this will allow consistent current and one fuse won’t be holding all the load and pop soon. After that plug in and mount controller somewhere out of sight as the app works fine, once you set it up, it will remember your last setting, it just does a boot check where it cycles through rgb colors for two seconds then it goes to whatever you set last. All in all great kit, not too hard to setup and the colors are amazing, super bright very responsive. Next is the Starlight headliner kit.
