These turned out to work well for my trailer and I read others reviews saying they look dim. Or that couldn’t tell between brakes on from running lights? Well perhaps they had wiring or contact points like poor ground to frame or just bottom line they have other issues in their wiring or perhaps skill set installing and yes perhaps the variable of just getting a. Defective set, of. Lights I get it and we’ll, with many items I buy on the Amazon platform I often buy used like new items returned back items from customers for whatever reason I figure probably some of the bad reviews from people who sent back and fear not I 9 out of 10 have solid results with what I end up receiving and these lights work great very bright no issues differentiating between functions of running lights to braking or turn signals all works as it should and much better then the old school style 1157 bulbs really updates the look of trailer and improves safety so the only thing I would perhaps suggest and I have been doing this for years on all aftermarket to even OEM light for my cars such as headlights and that’s if it’s a plastic kind of light housing that’s looks like it’s glued or fused together such as most these days I, take clear 100% RTV. Silicone and will, put light coat of. It over the areas of the seams to makes sure they stay dry and prevent moisture from getting inside the housing especially if your putting these on a boat trailer also put some around. The wires, where it goes into the light housing it’s. Of course a..very.light costing no big globbs of it and if done correctly you. Shouldn’t see. It. Anyhow being its on the back side of light it’s just simple insurance for myself I call. It as I hate to do stuff twice and I would recommend doing some as well to around the rubber putter insert where it’s makes contact to frame or hole it’d pushed into But I would, of course recommend wiring your lights up or bench test them to make sure they work first in case you do get a bad set and have to send back well you get what I saying I hope and it’s easy to. Test just touch red to your car battery.and ground to cars body or to battery if it doesn’t light up try the other wires or mix. It up led it a diode and it’s one way directions for. Power so. Won’t work if powers backward so try switching it it won’t hurt you or the car and lights won’t be damaged just don’t put wires some how to ark battery post together unless your looking to make a. Poorboy DC ark Welder then where some eye protection lol. Ify review was helpful please hit the thumbs up I would greatly appreciate you for it!

I have an older cargo trailer with old school incandescent bulbs. I upgraded to LED because they are brighter, and also light up INSTANTLY. Incandescent bulbs have a tiny delay in lighting up when the brakes are applied. While it’s only a tiny fraction of a second, when someone is following closely it can make a difference. The existing plugs in my trailer’s wiring should have fit only the new fixtures, but they’re off just a tiny bit. Glad they came with new plugs. The new lights are nice and bright and really “pop.” Highly recommended.

Direct replacement for older style lights. Same plug and play connection. The lights feel solid for the price. Very bright and appear to be holding up well the last few months.
Richard Hawk –
These were a perfect fit to replace original incandescent bulbs. Very satisfied.

I purchased these tail lights and the seal that mounts the lights to the trailer is real rubber. I was skeptical about the seal after reading many other tail light comments stating the seal wasn’t really rubber like the original equipment and didn’t fit tight. These fit tight, are bright and better then new. Thank You.
